Offensive Coordinator
Western High School is looking for a passionate and experienced Offensive Coordinator to join our staff. We have had a very solid stretch over the last decade and looking to continue that success. We are going through a bit of a transition with our previous head coach retiring. Much of the previous staff is returning the new head coach being on the previous staff.
The offensive coordinator will be responsible for designing an offense that fits our personnel, providing a blueprint of the offense for sub-varsity levels and working closely with the Varsity head coach to maximize the experience of being a Western Panther. Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal skills required.
Organizational skills, knowledge, and experience associated with overseeing an entire 7-12 program to ensure consistency throughout and provide leadership and direction.
Communicate and meet with parents to keep them duly informed of the program, schedule and expectations.
Provide enthusiasm/knowledge for leading, teaching, mentoring and preparing student-athletes for successes after high school.
Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.
Head coaching experience preferred.
Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
MHSAA CAP 1 or 2 certification preferred.

Middle School Head Coach & Assistant
Grandville coaches are role models for athletes in our interscholastic program and for the entire school community. Coaches will be expected to:
– Communicates positively and effectively with student athletes and parents.
– Be on-site for practices by 3pm
– Distributes information concerning practice schedules, team rules, coaching philosophies, and bus times to parents, student-athletes, and staff.
– Well versed, technically competent, and knowledgeable in basic football X’s and O’s and Grandville Football offensive and defensive schemes.
– Develops a well-organized practice schedule, which utilizes his staff and provides for individual as well as group instruction.
