LANSING – National championship-winning football coach Nick Saban, from the University of Alabama, will headline the 50th annual Michigan High School Football Coaches Association coaching clinic being planned for Jan. 13-15 in Lansing.
Saban is one of dozens of speakers committed to the event, which will be held in Lansing as well as virtual, allowing coaching from across the state and nation join.
“We are so excited about this clinic, being our 50th as an organization and the fact that our speaker lineup is bigger and better than ever,” said MHSFCA Executive Director Scott Farley. “Our coaches benefit from listening to great football minds from all over the nation speak and having Coach Saban as part of our lineup is a testament to how valuable this clinic is.”
A full lineup of speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
The event will be held in Lansing, but coaches may also log-in from a computer and participate from anywhere. The virtual format was a hit last year and helped the MHSFCA register coaches from several other states to be part of the clinic.
Speakers will include college and high school coaches and cover all levels of football, from youth to 8-Player to 11-Player. Additionally, there will be live demonstrations as part of the clinic.
