Tyler Holtz

Defensive Line

College: Grand Valley State University

 

Tyler has played football for nine years. He started on the offensive and defensive lines for the Holt varsity team for the past three years. He was All CAC and All CAAC Division One three times. He was also on the Lansing State Journal All Area Dream Team, AP, Detroit Free Press and Detroit News All State Honorable Mention in his senior season. In 2004. Tyler will continue his football career in college playing on the offensive line for the Grand Valley State Lakers.

 

Tyler also participated in two other sports in high school. He wrestled for Holt for two years and also participated in track and field throwing the shot put and discus for the Rams. Tyler was a three time state qualifier in the shot put and a two time regional champion in the shot put in Division One.

 

Tyler thanked his family for supporting him throughout the years, through all of the ups and downs, injuries and thrills. He also thanked all of his coaches in the past nine years not only in football but in his other sports that not just taught him to  excel in football but also in many other things that have turned him into a well rounded individual. Finally, Tyler thanked all of his friends for helping him through everything throughout the years and for pushing him to become a better player.
