Terrence was a four-year starter and captain of the Muskegon High School football team. He started in 48 varsity games. His proudest moment was leading the Big Reds to the Division II State Championship this past year.
Terrence’s football honors included State Class A “Player of the Year” in 2004. He was All-State “Dream Team” both his junior and senior years. Terrence was acknowledged as the Defensive Linemen Of The Year at the University of Michigan Football Camp in 2003. Terrence was voted as the most valuable player for the Big Reds in 2004.
Terrence participated in three sports. He was the State Champion in wrestling in the 275 pound weight class this past winter. He also won the Regional Championship in the discus as a junior. In addition, Terrence competed in Power lifting. He won the State Championship both his sophomore and junior years.
Terrence thanked his family for all their support throughout his career. “It meant everything to me that they were in the stands for all of my athletic endeavors. I love them very much.” He also thanked his teachers and coaches for all their commitment and support. Lastly, he thanked his teammates. “We all had a dream when we were freshmen and with a whole lot of sacrifice and sweat and tears, we achieved the ultimate, a State Championship.
