Nick played varsity football for three years. He was a team captain his junior and senior years. He was also voted team MVP for his junior and senior years. Nick led his team in tackles, amassing over 300, his sophomore, junior, and senior years. Nick was named First Team All State in both his junior and senior years. He was named the Midland Daily News Defensive Player of the Year his senior year and was on the Midland Daily News Dream Team the other two years.
Nick also played varsity basketball and baseball for three years where he was First Team Tri-Valley Conference for both. He was also Honorable Mention All State for basketball. Nick is a member of National Honor Society and BPA. He was valedictorian of his high school with a 4.0 GPA.
Nick thanked his family, friends, coaches, and teachers for all their guidance and encouragement. He also thanked the entire “Creek” community for their enthusiasm and support. He gave a special thanks to his dad for, “being there and coaching me throughout all the years.” He also thanked Northwood University for the opportunity to continue his academic and athletic career.
