Leo started playing football in the third grade. He was a three-year starter on the offensive and defensive line for the Pirates. During his three year career the Pirates were 32-5. The Pirates made the playoffs all three years and were undefeated in the Central Michigan Athletic Conference all three years with 31 straight victories and three Conference Championships. Leo also helped lead the Pirates to three District Championships and a Regional Championship. He was named team MVP his senior year. His career totals were 283 tackles, and 36 sacks. His junior year was cut short due to a knee injury. In his sophomore year he racked up 106 tackles, and 9 sacks.
Leo thanked his family, coaches, and teammates for, “all their support throughout my high school years.
