Kyle started playing youth football as an eight-year old for the Walled Lake Braves and played with the majority of his teammates for eight years. He played his freshman season at Walled Lake Western and played his sophomore year on the JV team. His junior year he took over as the varsity quarterback where he led his team to the playoffs with 2,500 total yards. He also had 16 passing and 10 rushing touchdowns.
As a captain in his senior season, he led his team to the playoffs where they made it to the semifinals where they just fell short, losing to Lowell High School. Kyle had a great season accounting for 3,230 total yards, 2,405 passing and 823 rushing with a total of 37 touchdowns.
Kyle also ran track all four years and earned all-state honors. He will attend the University of Findlay where he will play football.
Kyle thanked his parents for, “Supporting me through the years, driving me to all the quarterback trainings and being at every game.” He also thanked his older brother for being at his games and his younger brother for catching his passes all season. Kyle said, “One of my best memories of my high school career was throwing a touchdown to my brother, Justin. ”
