The son of Steve and Kristin Rogers, Kenny has two younger brothers, Jeffrey and Danny and a dog, Lilly.
At the age of nine, Kenny started playing tackle football for the Holt Jr. Rams Football Program. He played four years of high school football including two years on the varsity team, starting as strong side offensive tackle and becoming captain his senior year. He helped lead Holt to back-to- back state playoff appearances, including a trip to the state semifinals in 2009.

During his football career, Kenny was ranked number 30 on the Detroit Free Press Fabulous 50 and number 35 on the Detroit News Blue Chip list. He was also a two-year starter on the offensive line and received two-time all conference and academic all conference selection. He was named to the Dream teams of the Detroit Free Press, Detroit News, and Lansing State Journal and 1st Team Division 1-2 all state by the 2010 Associated Press and the Free Press.
Throughout high school, Kenny also participated in competitive weight lifting and track and field as a shot put and discus thrower. He will attend Central Michigan University starting this summer.
Kenny thanked God, his parents, family and friends for supporting him throughout his high school football career. He also extended a special thank you to Coach Slamer and Coach Rarick for pushing him to work hard and helping to get him to where he is today.
