Jalen’s parents are Terra Watts and Rick Jackson. He has one sister, Kyra Watts-Jackson (14).
Jalen started playing football when he was a third grader. He has played several positions both offensively and defensively including quarterback, wide receiver, linebacker, defensive end and defensive back. Jalen was a team captain and was named the Eaglets Most Valuable Player. He was responsible for six interceptions, 39 solo tackles, two fumbles caused and a fumble recovery.
At St. Mary’s, Jalen was also a member of the baseball and track teams and helped out with youth camps.
Jalen said, “I thank God, my parents, my uncle and my family for supporting me. I thank the Jennings family for all their love and support. I also thank coach Jeffrey Phillips for molding me into the player I am today.”
