Greg played several positions throughout his career. As a senior he played quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and corner back as well as punt returner and kick returner. In his junior season the team won the Divison 2 state championship with a 14-0 record. In his senior year, Greg tied the school record with eight interceptions.
Greg was also involved in Student Leadership Council, and the National Honor Society. He participated in blood drives and community service. He played basketball as a freshman, ran track for three years and powerlifted for three years. He won the JV state powerlifting championship in his sophomore year in the 155 lb. weight class. As a junior, he came in second place in the state powerlifting championship in the 165 lb. weight class and set the state record in the squat with a lift of 425 pounds.
Greg thanked, “God, because with out him none of my success would be possible.” He thanked “my mother for all her love and support, all of my coaches, especially Coaches Annese, Koziak, Fairfield, and Hodges as well as Coach Hiliker.” He thanked “all of my teachers for their help, and all of my friends especially Reggie Moore and Devonte Spears as well as my girlfriend Tasia Ramey.” He also thanked “all of my teammates from my freshman year to my senior year. Greg will attend Saginaw Valley State University on a football scholarship. He will study journalism.
