Chuck was a three-year letterman. He started all three years on the offensive line and started two years at linebacker. In 2004 Chuck was captain. He led the team in tackles with 134. Also in 2004 he was named All Region Defensive Player of the Year. For the second year in a row he was Monroe’s Defensive MVP and was also awarded the Iron man award for both his junior and senior years. He was All Detroit West second team and All Detroit Honorable Mention. He was also All League and All Region for two years.
Chuck thanked his mother and father for all they have done for him. He also thanked his, “sister, grandmother, girlfriend, and all of my friends who have supported me.” He thanked all his coaches, “especially Coach Hudkins, Coach Mac, Coach Schulte, Coach Troxell, Coach Carducci, Coach Clark and Coach Ernie Huffman. Thanks for everything you have done for me, and what you have taught me and most of all for always believing in me.”
