Brandon was a three-year starter for the Oak Park Knight varsity team as an offensive and defensive lineman. He became the team’s captain during the 2003 season.
Brandon also participated in track and field. As a junior he was ranked number 15 in the state in the shot-put.
Brandon thanked his parents for their continued support. He also gave a, “special thanks to Beverly and Ruby, who have been with me every step of the way.”
