Brandon is the son of Lance and Michelle Keen. He has an older sister, Amanda (24), who attended Central Michigan University and graduated in the spring.
Brandon began playing football in the second grade and continued playing for the Byron youth program until he was in sixth grade. In the sixth grade Brandon moved to Lake Fenton, where he also played for the youth program. As a seventh and eighth grader, he played on the middle school team at Lake Fenton. As a freshman and sophomore, Brandon played on the freshman and JV teams. As a junior, he was the starting center on the varsity team and anchored the line through the district championship game where they fell short of the trophy. Brandon earned the Most Valuable Lineman award for the team as a junior. After the season, Brandon transferred to Our Lady of the Lakes for his senior year. Our Lady won the Catholic League Championship and advanced to the District Championship game. Brandon has signed to play football at Central Michigan University as an offensive tackle in 2014.
Brandon said, “I thank my Mom, Dad, and sister for always being there with love, support, and guidance academically and athletically.” Brandon thanked, “all of my coaches and trainers throughout my football career, especially Justin Brantley of B-Fit Detroit. Thank you, Justin, for helping me become a better person and player.”
