Brady started organized football in the sixth grade and has “continued his love for the game all the way through high school.” He was a two-year starter for the Norway Knights and had the privilege of moving up to varsity during his sophomore year for the Knights’ playoff run. Brady played wide receiver, safety, and also was the punter and kicker. As a senior he led his Knightsback to the playoffs. He had 27 catches for 400 yards and 4 touchdowns. As a safety he had 132 tackles and 2 interceptions. As a punter he averaged 42 yards a punt.
Brady also played basketball, baseball, and ran track. He helped the Norway baseball team, in its first year of play, reach the Division 4 Quarterfinals and win their first district and regional titles. In basketball, he was a two-year starter and helped the Knights win a district title. In track, he was a part of a UP qualifying 3200 M relay team.
Brady said, “I would like to thank first and foremost God for granting me the opportunity to play the sport of football. I would also like to thank my dad for showing me the game and helping me throughout my whole football career. I also thank my mom for putting up with all the headaches and worries that come with the game of football.” He also gave “a big thanks to my whole extended family for being there throughout my career.”
Brady will continue his football career playing safety at Northern Michigan University.
