Assistant Coach Bob Rowe
Taylor Truman High School
Coach Rowe graduated from Truman HS in 1986, where he earned three varsity letters in football and four letters in baseball. He graduated from Eastern Michigan University with degrees in mathematics and physical education. During his time in college he coached football and baseball at Truman HS under Michigan Hall of Fame coach and 1990 All-Star coach Jim Clawson. He has also coached football at Monroe St. Mary’s Catholic Central under All-Star coach Jack Giarmo, and at Monroe HS, Lincoln Park HS, and Taylor Kennedy HS. Bob has been a teacher in the Taylor School District since 1996 and is presently teaching mathematics at Truman HS. Bob has been the head football coach at Truman HS for the last three seasons while completing his 23rd year of coaching football.
Coach Rowe has been married to Carolyn for eight years. He has two children, Malina (5), and Leo (1). He said, “I never could have enjoyed my time being a Head Football Coach without the tremendous support and shared excitement for the game by my wife and family. Thank you so very much for all that you have done over the years to help me.”

I thank the coaches association for selecting me. The coaches association provides a wonderful experience for the young men in the state of Michigan by hosting this game.”
