Anthony is the son of Tony and Melisa. He has a sister, Avery, who is currently attending the University of Michigan.

 

Anthony was a four-year letter winner on the varsity football team at Marine City. The teams record those four years was 46-4. Anthony played running back, wide receiver and safety. He was a three-time member of the Port Huron Times Herald All Area Team. He was also a three-time selection to the Macomb Area Conference Gold Division First Team and an Associated Press two-time First Team All State selection. He was the Associated Press, 2011 Division 3/4 Player of the Year; First Team All State Detroit News and Detroit Free Press in 2010; Detroit News and Detroit Free Press, 2011, Dream Team; and Port Huron Times Herald Player of the Year in both 2010 and 2011. He was also #39 on the Detroit News Blue Chip List. Anthony will attend Central Michigan University on a football scholarship.

 

Anthony was also a four-year letter winner in track. He holds the school record in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.67. He was a three-time state qualifier. He also played basketball. Anthony was captain of both his football and track teams.

 

Anthony thanked his parents, “who have supported me throughout my athletic career.” He also gave, “a big thanks to my sister, Avery, who was a great role model, all of my relatives, who came to all my games and supported me and the Marine City football team and coaches, who made the last four years so fun and rewarding. Without these people supporting me, none of this would have been possible.”
