Allen started playing football at the age of seven for the PAL Westside Steelers as an all-around player. He fell in love with the game when he put on his uncle Dre’s helmet. Allen started at quarterback as a sophomore for Cody and led the team to the city and state playoffs. Allen started at defensive back for the first time as a senior. He was named first team All State, first team All Metro, and first team All Detroit.
Allen thanked the coaching staff of the Westside Steelers and Cody High School. He also thanked, “everybody who came to the games to give their support.” “I thank God and my family. Without their support, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today.”
