The MHSFCA Senior Showcase is a MHSAA endorsed one-day event for high school seniors that have not signed to display their skills to Division II, III, and NAIA football programs. The event will be organized and managed by the MHSFCA and area high school football coaches. Players will showcase their skills during a series of tests and drills that will best display each player’s talent at their respective positions. Following the activities, players and colleges/universities will meet to discuss scholarship and financial aid opportunities for the participating athletes. Admission will be restricted to the athletes, participating coaches, and volunteers, visiting high school and college/university coaches and/or administrators, and the media.
Academic Requirements: There are no test score requirements, however players must have a 2.5 GPA or higher
We greatly appreciate the sponsorship and organizational support from the Mel Farr Superstar Foundation. Without them, this event would not be possible.
The Mel Farr Superstar Foundation is a non-profit organization created to continue his legacy and principles of inclusion, mentoring, social justice, and overall commitment to excellence. The Foundation hosts the “Georgia Showcase”. The camp provides an opportunity for High School Seniors to showcase their talents to Division II, III, and NAIA schools. The camp is a free camp for both coaches and athletes. The Foundation through the camp focuses on getting kids a financial package to attend college while playing the game we all love, football.
