Head Coach Tim Baechler
Plymouth Canton High School
Coach Baechler graduated from White Pigeon High School in 1985. He earned his BA in secondary education with a major in English at Adrian College in 1990 and his Masters in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University in 1998.
Coach Baechler was a quarterback for his mentors Mary Schneider and Pat West at White Pigeon when the Chiefs went 8-1 in 1983 and 9-0 in 1984. He also started at tight end for three years while at Adrian College when the Bulldogs won the MIAA Championship in 1988. Tim has been coaching for 17 years. He was an assistant coach for two years at Onsted High School and one year at White Pigeon. He then became the head coach at Hudson High School for five years and spent one year as the head coach at Dexter High School. Coach Baechler has just finished his eighth season as the head coach at Canton High School where they have won three WLAA Conference Championships and qualified for the state playoffs six years in a row. They have won three District Championships, a Regional Championship, and were the 2005 Division I State Runners Up.
Coach Baechler lives in Plymouth with his wife Julie and their two sons Brocton, 9 and Lou, 6. Coach Baechier said, “Thank you, MHSFCA, for giving, me this opportunity.
