Jeff became starter midway through his junior season. He led Dexter to their first winning record (5-4) in 16 years as a senior. In his two years at quarterback he threw for 3,576 yards and 38 touchdowns while breaking 10 school records. Jeff was named offensive player of the year after his junior season and named captain and MVP after his senior season.
Jeff also played basketball for the Dreadnaughts and helped the team to the regional finals his junior and senior years.
Jeff thanked his parents, family, and friends for all their support. He thanked the Dexter community for supporting the Dexter football program. And gave, “a special thanks to all my teammates, especially to the “Big Men” and all the coaches, especially Coach Barbieri who has been there for me since eighth grade.
