Dustin played free safety where he had 11 interceptions and returned three of them for touchdowns. At running back he had 20 touchdowns and rushed for over 1,000 yards. He also returned kicks, three of them for touchdowns. He said, “All this wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for the entire team. One of the greatest experiences they had was going to team camp for three days where they all bonded very closely while working out or just running around on the beach.” This experience led the team to a great season bringing Hamilton a Conference Championship not accomplished since 1994 and compiling a record of 10-1.
Other than football, Dustin played varsity basketball for four years. He earned All Conference three years and also holds the all-time scoring record. He also participated in track and was All Conference in his first three years.
Dustin thanked his teammates for their support during the season. He thanked his coaches who were “always there for me on and off the field and are still a part of my life now. ” He gave a, “big thanks to my friends who have always been there and cheered me on. Thanks for your support.” An “extra special thanks to my ‘bro’ for all the encouragement.
Lastly, I thank my family for allowing me to participate and for supporting me in everything.”
