David started playing football in the seventh grade. He loved the physical aspect and work ethic of the game right from the start. David was a three year starter on varsity and was team captain. He played offense and defense and helped his team make the state playoffs his junior and senior years.
David was a starter on his school’s varsity baseball team his freshman and sophomore years. He led the team in home runs both years. He stopped playing baseball so he could spend more time lifting weights and working out. His sophomore year was the only year he competed in power lifting. He was Regional Power Lifting Champion and runner up in the state power lifting championships.
David thanked, “God for the privilege and giving me the ability to play the game I love.” He also thanked his parents, family, coaches and friends for all their help and support.
