Dennis played varsity football for three years. He was co-captain of his team his senior year. He was voted Most Valuable Player his junior and senior years. He was named to the All Conference team his junior and senior years. He was also named First Team All Metro North in his senior year. He was picked as one of the Offensive Players of the Year by the KVC. He passed for 2,136 yards and 16 touchdowns in his senior year.
Dennis also participated in basketball (three years on varsity), baseball for three years (one on varsity) and track for two years.
Dennis said, “I would like to especially thank my parents and sister for all of their love and constant support.” He also thanked, “all of my family for coming to all of the games, all of my friends for always being there for me and a special thanks to Coach Scheloske for changing the offense and giving me a chance to pass the ball. To all of the coaches that have coached me throughout the years, Thanks. I have learned a lot from all of you.” He thanked his teammates, “most of all. We have had so many great experiences and memories to remember.” He thanked, “all of our fans for supporting the Lions.”
