Coach Brad Morris graduated from Warren Mott HS in 1985. He attended Ferris State University where he was a three time All-American wrestler for the Bulldogs. Brad graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Business Education. Morris later received his Master Degree in Administration from Saginaw Valley State University.
Coach Morris has coached for 21 years for the Chippewa Valley School District. Brad’s first 10 years were spent coaching at Chippewa Valley HS under Bob Schroeder and Mike Carr. These past 11 years, he has coached at Dakota HS for Mike Giannone as Defensive Coordinator and currently as Offensive Coordinator.
Morris has had many highlights in his recent coaching career. In the past 11 years, he has coached: 11 playoff seasons, 7 District Championship teams, 6 Regional Championship teams and 2 Division 1 State Championship teams. Coach Morris, with the rest of the Dakota coaching staff, was also selected as Macomb County Coach of the Year. Coach Morris says “my fondest coaching memories come from coaching some of the greatest kids in the world including my son Mark who now plays at Northwood University.”
Brad and his wife Laura have been married 21 years. They are the proud parents of four children, Mark (19), Lauren (16) and twins Jack & Holly (12).
Coach Morris said, “I am honored and will always cherish the opportunity to coach in the Michigan High School Football All Star Game. It is a great event.”
