Dru started playing football when he was eight. He played three years of varsity football at St. Francis. The Saints won two district championships in 2014 and 2015, one regional championship in 2015 and made one semi-final appearance.
Dru also participated in basketball, baseball and track and field. He graduated with seven varsity letters.
Dru said, “I thank my friends and family who have supported me throughout my years of football. I also thank Coach Sellers and the rest of the St. Francis coaching staff, for helping me become the player I am today and for all the things they’ve taught me.”
