Lamontae is the son of Patrick Jackson and YoVonda McDaniel. He has three sisters, Deandra, Quashawn and Paris, and three brothers, Cordell, Cess and Daniel.
Lamontae’s football experience started in the fifth grade with the Muskegon Heights Youth Football League. While as a student in the Orchard View Public Schools, Lamontae continued to improve his sportsmanship with the football league.
Extracurricular activities included track, weightlifting, and membership on the power lifting team at Orchard View High School. Lamontae was recognized as “Student of the Month” for February, and was an excellent student maintaining a 3.0 GPA. Lamontae was an active member of the Bethesda Baptist Church, and volunteers with the BALSE after school ministries.
Lamontae will continue his football career at Grand Valley State University. He thanked his family, coaches, teammates, church family, and all who contributed to his “growth not only as a fine athlete but a world class young man as well.”
