At the age of eight Antonio started playing football. “He has been addicted ever since.” Antonio first joined the varsity football team as a sophomore, when he was moved up for the playoffs. In his junior and senior years he started as running back for the Huskies. Antonio’s senior year was his best, with over 1,400 yards and 18 touchdowns, 11 rushing, 6 receiving and 1 kick return. He averaged 7.1 yards a carry, and 19.9 yards a catch. He was awarded first team All Conference and first team All Area running back, both his junior and senior years.
Antonio also ran track and played two years of high school basketball.
Antonio thanked his family for their support. He also thanked his coaches and his teammates for “pushing me to get better every day.”
