In his senior year he played outside linebacker, punted, played tight end and was the kicker for the Sailors. A game he and his teammates will fondly remember was when he kicked a game-winning 25-yard field goal with two seconds remaining to give the Sailors sole possession of the O-K Gold Conference championship.
Football was Scott’s favorite sport but he also enjoyed participating in each sport season at South Christian. He enjoyed playing hockey for the Sailors, running track, and playing on South Christian’s tennis team. He also enjoyed the competition of intramurals during the noon break.
Scott was active during his years at South Christian. He was involved in Young Life and was a Campaigner leader. He sang in choir, participated in the Peer Tutoring, was on Student Council, and represented his class on the Homecoming Court.
