The Jim Crowley Award is dedicated to the memory of the late Jim Crowley, former coach at Jackson Lumen Christi High School, a great coach, and a dedicated family man. The award honors individuals who have made special contributions to the game of football and to the MHSFCA. It is the most prestigious award presented by our association.
The man with the idea behind the organization that became the MHSFCA, Dave Driscoll served as the association’s first president in 1972 and 1973. He was inducted into the MHSFCA Hall of Fame in 1982.
Dave had 26 years coaching at Jackson St. Mary’s, East Jackson High School, Jackson Parkside, Ypsilanti High School and Michigan State University. Record: 122 wins, 102 losses, 5 ties. At the time of induction: Residing in Jackson.
