“I would just like to thank God for giving me the chance to grow to my potential, not only as an athlete but as a person as well. Without Him I wouldn’t be here. I would also like to thank my parents for being the most supportive people in the world. They believed I could achieve anything I set my mind to and they understood how important sports were to me and they are a big reason why I am here. Finally I want to thank all of my teammates and the Elk Rapids coaching staff, especially Coach Schindler. I have never met a coach so committed to his players and the program as he is. He taught me everything that allowed me to become the player that I am now. Without him, Elk Rapids Football would never have become the team and family that we are today. Thanks Coach.”
