University of Massachusetts

High School: Northville

High School Coach: Matt Ladach

Dimitri’s parents are Peter Angelas and Niki Brogger. He has two brothers, Adam (20) and Alex (15).

Dimitri’s  first year playing football was as a freshman. He had attended a small, private middle school that had no football team and growing up he was always way over the height and weight limit for the local little league team. Prior to high school he played many sports including basketball, baseball, hockey, and soccer. After getting a feel for the game on the freshman team, Dimitri started on the varsity team the next three years. During his varsity career, Northville won three straight Division Championships (2011-2013) in the Kensington Lakes Activities Association, Northville’s first ever Conference Championship (2013), and made the state playoffs twice.

Dimitri also threw varsity shot put in his freshman and sophomore years.

Dimitri thanked, “God for all the blessings He has given me, my parents for supporting me throughout high school, and Coach Ladach and the rest of the coaching staff at Northville High School as well as my teammates for helping me develop into the player I am today.”
